Her father, a WWII veteran, passed that legacy on to all six of his children — each went on to earn a college degree, several with graduate degrees.</h4><p>Tiffany followed that path to the University of Texas at Austin, then earned her law degree from Texas Southern University, passing the Texas bar in 1997. She spent the next 28 years as a prosecutor — first in Fort Bend County, then in Tarrant County starting in 1999 — rising to felony court chief and later deputy chief over the criminal division.</p><p>Today, as a partner and criminal division lead at Varghese Summersett, she brings a rare, complete view of the justice system — as both prosecutor and defense attorney.</p><p>Tiffany is married to retired Army Colonel Glennie Burks, and together they have three children and seven grandchildren. That same commitment to faith, family, and service now drives her campaign to lead Tarrant County's DA's office with fairness and integrity.And don't forget to add images!</p><p><strong>Tiffany's story is rooted in Fort Worth.</strong> From her early days in the courtroom to her work today, she's spent her career fighting for a Tarrant County that's safer and more just for everyone.</p>
